  Originally from England, Gerry has over 25 years of teaching experience around the world. He is a travel enthusiast and an enthusiastic cook. Gerry loves to laugh and encourage the best from his students. In addition to teaching, Gerry also led a number of companies that allowed him to understand life outside of academia.

• DANIEL

  After University Daniel spent a number of years teaching English in East Asia and China, after which he returned to his native City of Melbourne where he was one of the first wave of online English tutors, and it is this experience that allows him to put his students at ease, which helps them progress faster.

• CATRIONA

  A lover of nature and keen gardener, Catriona's thorough and supportive approach to tutoring in part came from her time teaching as an English Professor at University in South Korea, where she lived for over 15 years.  Prior to that she also taught in Africa. Now settled in NZ far from her native UK, she enjoys the personal contact that online teaching gives her.

• SARAH

  Like a number of our tutors Sarah has a Masters degree in Education which she obtained in Australia, she currently splits her time between online tutoring in English and teaching in the Middle-East, where she has lived for a number of years. Fluent in French and Japanese, she has taught in a number of countries including Japan. Sarah somehow also finds time to be an IELTS examiner.
